When? It took place in march 2025

Who? Young families (kids up to 3 years) & cyclists that want to enjoy a chilled cycling holidays where the routes are between 40-60 km

In ski resorts, it’s become a tradition to leave your child at the nursery and enjoy a few hours on the slopes together. But what if you don’t like skiing? And your baby is too young to be left without it’s parents for several hours? In March 2025, we’re creating the experience of a lifetime for young cycling families in a beautiful townhouse in Mallorca. Amazing roads, stable weather and short flights make it the perfect family and cycling destination. We offer two rides a day (approx. 9-12 and 14-17 o clock), with one queen stage to Sa Calobra ridden twice – and the other a rest day. This way both parents can enjoy some time on the bike while the other looks after the little ones. Our cycling holidays are open to a maximum of 20 adults (including my family), so it’s definitely a very personal and intimate experience for those who don’t feel comfortable in the big, touristy hotels. And one more thing: if you don’t have children, but don’t fancy overcrowded hotels and extremely strenuous back-to-back rides, this is for you too – if you enjoy spending time with mostly happy, but sometimes noisy, young people.

Our homebase in Sineu

We stay in a townhouse in the centre of Sineu. It’s a charming old building, recently renovated by a team dedicated to creating the best cycling holidays in Mallorca. There is a pool in the patio, a cosy lunch room and even a yoga basement. Sineu is a small town in the heart of Mallorca, famous for it’s market and velodrome.

Route inspiration

With the local knowledge of the “Finca Son Tia” crew and depending on your stamina, we will do each route twice a day – once in the morning and once in the afternoon, so that both parents can enjoy some time off. It’s also perfect for cyclists without children who just want to enjoy shorter rides and use the rest of the day to relax in the townhouse, go for walks or do some sightseeing! The Queen’s Stage is ridden over two days, giving the other parent a rest day (as much as a full day with a toddler can be a rest day). But it’s a lot easier with like-minded parents – I promise!). It is compulsory to wear a helmet and clipless pedals are best. You should have a few group rides under your belt, but we will practice group etiquette before each ride. The rides are no-drop, with one group averaging 21-23km/h and the other 23-25km/h. Yep, there’ll be coffee stops too!

Impressions from our camp 2025

At the moment, there’s no camp for 2026 planned as I’m increasing my hours at my normal job. But maybe 2027?
